Abandon Ship Checklist

1. Issue Mayday with position, nature of distress, persons aboard.
2. Activate EPIRB, AIS MOB beacons, and grab the ditch bag.
3. Secure ship's logs, passports, portable radios, and water.
4. Board life raft in controlled manner; cut painter only when clear.
5. Maintain watch, ration supplies, and prepare for rescue signals.
