Anchoring Procedure

Standard approach for anchoring and setting snubber/bridle.

Preparation

• Anchor location selection and depth review
• Rode scope calculation and marks check
• Windlass remote/controls test, bridle ready

Set & Secure

• Approach heading and drop timing
• Back down to set anchor, confirm hold
• Deploy bridle/snubber and set chafe gear

At Anchor

• Anchor alarm setup
• Deck tidy and log entry
• Periodic checks and watch rotations

Include anchor locker layout, bridle attachment points, and windlass circuit breakers.
